Jason Wilkins
I have cycled all my life, I am passionate and proud of forming PW Velo, our club is relaxed and welcomes all ages and abilities.

Sam Wilkins
I am passionate about growing our lady membership. I’ve only been cycling 4 years and I enjoy a relaxed chatty ride with a coffee at the end!

Jon Gandell
Occasional enthusiast, desperately hanging on to my youth! Prefers a flat route, preferable with a café or pub along the way.

Sean Hesmer
Cycling for social enjoyment and exercise and the company of other likeminded cyclists. Best club ride is to Rye - great route good turnout and a great breakfast stop followed by the return route along the Military Road flat fast 6 mile group effort.

Phil Northfield
I’ve been riding for 10 years now and I love setting myself different cycling challenges like finding the best bakers, carrot cake and bacon butties! Oh and I like doing sportives, ‘Chase the Sun’ cycling the UK East to West was a great experience.

Mike Tarrant
I am a keen road cyclist having tried most other cycling disciplines, including downhill mountain biking. I try to ride at least 60 miles per week, spread across 2-3 rides. My favourite sort of route is fast and open with a bacon sandwich or beer at the end of it! As a founding member and part of the committee my responsibility within Paddock Wood Velo is for setting the weekly routes and arranging the club kit.

Scott Golding
The challenge of cycling is something so different to most other sports - trust me, I don't like those hills!! Give me a nice flat route and pub at the end every time. The members we have are superb and range from the novice rider (me) to much more equipped and fitter members. Being part of the Velo has opened up my eyes to a whole new world, right in my back garden!

Steve Lindsey
I started cycling in 2014, after getting a charity place in the RideLondon100. At first it was a real struggle to pedal 10 miles, but over time it became easier and I have now enjoyed various endurance events, such as ‘Chase The Sun’ and full distance triathlons. One reason I love cycling is because I’m partial to an egg & bacon buttie and a beer garden post-ride.
